Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 5, 2026

This policy explains what information Pretty Damn Good collects through prettydamngood.com, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. We’ve tried to write it the way we’d want to read it: plainly.

Who we are

Pretty Damn Good is a marketing agency based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. If you have a question about this policy or your information, email hello@prettydamngood.com or call +1 734-210-1815.

Information you give us

The contact form. When you fill out the form on our Contact page we collect what you type: your first and last name, email address, company, website, and your answers about your project, timeline and budget. We use it to reply to you and to decide whether we’re a good fit.

The form has more than one step. Your answers are saved as you move from the first step to the next, so if you start the form and don’t finish it, we still receive what you entered up to that point.

Client proposals. If we send you a proposal, it lives on a private page that opens with an access code. We record when the proposal was first and last opened and how many times. If you approve a proposal online, we record your name, title, email address, the date and time, your IP address and your browser type, as a record of the approval.

Email and phone. If you contact us directly, we keep that correspondence.

Information collected automatically

  • Form submissions. Along with your answers, we record your IP address and the page you submitted from.
  • HubSpot. We use HubSpot as our customer relationship system. Its tracking code runs on this site and uses cookies to recognize repeat visits and, once you submit a form, to connect your visits with your contact record. Form submissions are sent to HubSpot.
  • Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used in aggregate: which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from, and what devices they use. It uses cookies and collects information such as your approximate location and browser details.
  • Server logs. Our hosting provider, Kinsta, keeps standard server logs that include IP addresses, pages requested and browser details, for security and troubleshooting.
  • Fonts. Our typefaces are served by Adobe Fonts. To deliver them, Adobe receives your IP address and basic browser information.

Cookies

This site sets or allows the following cookies:

  • HubSpot cookies, used to recognize returning visitors and link form submissions to a contact record.
  • Google Analytics cookies, used to count visits and understand how the site is used.
  • A proposal access cookie, set only after you enter a valid access code on a proposal page, so you don’t have to re-enter it. It lasts 30 days.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work. A proposal page will ask for its access code again.

How we use your information

  • To respond to inquiries and provide our services.
  • To prepare, deliver and keep a record of proposals and approvals.
  • To understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
  • To keep the site secure and prevent abuse.

We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it with anyone for their own advertising.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers that help us run the site and our business, and only so they can provide those services to us:

  • HubSpot, for contact management and form handling.
  • Google, for website analytics.
  • Kinsta, for website hosting.
  • Adobe, for web fonts.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

How long we keep it

We keep form submissions, correspondence and proposal records for as long as we need them for the purposes above, including maintaining business records. If you’d like us to delete your information, ask and we will, unless we’re required to keep it.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@prettydamngood.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy law, and we’ll honor requests made under them.

Links and embedded content

Our site links to other websites, including our social media profiles and client sites, and some pages may include embedded content such as video. Those sites and services have their own privacy practices, which we don’t control.

Children

This site is for businesses. It isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we’ll post the new version here and update the date at the top.
